DIY Project Calculators (diyprojectcalculators.com) is run by Taimoor Zayad. This page explains what information is collected when you use the site, and why.
The short version
- You don't need an account, and there are no forms to fill in.
- The calculators run in your browser. The measurements you type are not sent to us and are not stored by us.
- We don't sell your personal information.
Information collected when you visit
The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services. Pages are stored in Amazon S3 and delivered by Amazon CloudFront. When you open a page, CloudFront receives the technical information every browser sends, such as your IP address, browser type and the address of the page you asked for.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, for example which calculators people use and whether a result is copied. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as the pages viewed, your approximate location, and your device and browser type. We do not send the measurements you enter, your name or your email address to Google Analytics.
You can read how Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps (opens in a new tab). You can also opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (opens in a new tab).
Advertising
Ads are not running on this site yet. We plan to show ads from Google AdSense in the future, and we will update this page when we do.
Once ads run, third parties, including Google, may be placing and reading cookies on your browser, or using web beacons or IP addresses to collect information, as a result of ad serving on this site. Google's advertising cookies let Google and its partners show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalized ads in Google Ads Settings (opens in a new tab), and read how Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps (opens in a new tab).
Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland
Before personalized ads are shown to visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we will use a Google-certified consent management platform to ask for your consent. You will be able to change your choice at any time.
If you email hello@diyprojectcalculators.com, your message is forwarded to our inbox through Cloudflare Email Routing. We use your email address and message only to reply to you, and we don't add you to any mailing list.

This site is for adults planning home projects. It is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
